St. Francis and the First Christmas Play!

O Little Town of Greccio?  In this show, a group of Franciscan Friars in Italy retell the tale of the first Christmas — just like St. Francis did almost 800 years ago, starting the tradition of the Christmas play!  In this interactive musical, the entire cast gets to sing

• “Hay, Hay” as they offer Hay to Baby Jesus.
• “Shine your Light” while they wave star wands!
• “Joy, Joy, Joy to the World” and shake musical instruments!

Some actors lead the congregation in a Shepherd song called “Little Lamb, Little Lamb” about finding the lost sheep.  And a new mommy, Mary, tries to quell her crying child with the song, “Your cry will wake up the world.”
